This is what I know about all 8 islands of Hawaii, Kaho’olawe is an island that is inhabited because of bombs missiles the Military used this island to test bombs ,that is why it’s inhabited. There are programs where they try to help to clean up the unexploded bombs and mines. Kaho’olawe’s nickname is “The Forgotten Island”. Nobody is allowed to live on Kaho’olawe.

Oahu is “The Gathering Place” there are more people on Oahu than any other island in Hawaii. It’s best known for its Tourism, Oahu has no active volcanoes but your allowed to climb up a dead one, it’s called Diamond head. Oahu’s state fish is the Humuhumunukunukuapua’a. Most of the Japanese people come to Waikiki, Waikiki has a beach and it’s the most popular beach.

Big island is the biggest island of all the Hawaiian islands it still has an active volcano which is probably why a lot of people don’t live there. Even though it’s the biggest it has few people on it compared to Oahu. On Big island is the Naha stone which made King Kamehameha technically the king of all islands. It was said that who ever turned the Naha stone over will become the king of all the islands.
